Protect our information is a right

Unlike other countries, in Chile the protection of our personal data is not guaranteed by State. The actual law was created in 1999 when the internet -and its associated phenomena- didn´t is known to ordinary people life.

As result of this, today we don´t have an upgraded law and our information can be used by other persons, private companies or marketing and, the most preoccupant, is that all this happen every day without our consent.

But the fully protect in this hyperconnected era is impossible and the responsibility of know what we are giving when we accept the condition to be part of the new technologies stars with us. How many time do you have given your R.U.T. in a shopping center or you have allowed that a “app” can access to your cellphone information?

At present, Congress discus a modification to current rule where, among other thing, the motion asks to create a National Agency for the Protection of Personal Data. This organization would be responsible by the Transparency Council but wouldn’t be independent.

My future job

I haven’t decided yet what will be my plan for the future. For now, I’ve have two ideas in my mind. A short experience in the stadium

Just for a photo, that could be the summary of this story. My experiences in the stadium always have been normal, maybe, because unwittingly I’ve avoided exposing myself to dangerous situation. But this time was different. My story happened two years ago, on April 2016. This afternoon I had gone to see the “classic Chilean” football game between teams Universidad de Chile and Colo Colo. I was whit two friends very fanatics of the Universidad de Chile and, of course, she wore her team ‘s shirt.
